Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird 3 Speed Gearsets

We have designed a heavy duty 3 speed gearbox to be used in drag or car/buggy applications where all 6 gears aren’t necessary.  The gears are much wider than standard and can take considerably higher torque and impact loads than the standard cluster.

The standard input shaft gear is not used for 1st, to lower replacement costs.  This makes the gearbox layout N, 1, 2, 3, but if you wanted neutral between 1st and 2nd this would be a simple mod, (call for a quote).

All engagement dogs are undercut to promote positive engagement and are optimized for racing use.  The gears must be built onto the standard Honda input and output shafts using genuine Honda washers, bushes and circlip, etc.  When fitting either blank and weld or remove the pins on the end of the drum to prevent selection above 3rd or below 1st on the Nova box.
