Honda CB450 6 Speed Gearset

2016 Updated design

We have further refined this design to improve shift performance and durability.

Full six speed close ratio gearset comprising assembled input and output shafts, 3 billet selector forks, selector drum, indexing block, neutral indexing roller, clutch nut, clutch washer and pusher.

All engagement dogs are undercut and have three dogs to promote positive and rapid engagement.

We have dispensed with the standard circlip retaining the clutch hub and manufactured the input shaft with a screw thread. The new gearbox is supplied with the necessary washer and nut together with a new clutch pusher.

NOTE: a small amount of modification may be required to the inside of the standard pressure plate to account for the slightly longer thread and nut arrangement.

Should you, in the future, decide to fit the Dry Clutch this arrangement will be already in place and not involve any more additional expense.
